SERVICE TO HUMANITY 

On Thursday, 23^rd of February a Free Eye Checkup Camp was organized by SXSSS in collaboration with LIONS CLUB OF AHMEDABAD, AAVKAR PARIVAAR ZONE   at the campus of St. Xavier’s Social Service Society from 4 pm to 6.30 pm for Loyola Evening School -LES students. Mrs. Nutan Vijh -Past District Governor of LIONS club was the chief guest and Shri Murlidhar Goplani -the owner of Bharat Krishna Bakery was the special Guest of the day. A team of Eye specialist doctors carried out eye examination and vision tests. Altogether 118 children of LES underwent the eye test. Few children were detected for vision issues and were recommended for further check-up. The expenses for the same will be borne by LIONS Club of Ahmedabad.

While the eye tests were going on a team of volunteers occupied the other children with games and entertainment and prizes were given to the winners. The team also distributed snacks for all the students through which they expressed their love affection and kindness towards the Children

The team also informed that children those who have the problem of vision and allergy will be done follow up and provide free treatment in the coming days.
